Prerequisites
Before starting your IDC with us, make sure you meet the following requirements. These standards are set by PADI to ensure you’re ready to take on the next step in your professional diving career. If you’re missing any of these, don’t worry, we can help you get there.
Be a PADI Divemaster (or hold an equivalent certification from another training organisation)
Have at least 100 logged dives before attending the Instructor Examination (IE)
Be 18 years of age or older
Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months
Hold a valid diving medical certificate, signed by a physician within the last 12 months, stating you are fit for diving
Hold Emergency First Response (Primary and Secondary Care) training completed within the last 24 mon
